The 7th Forum “Higher Education and the Labour Market” (HELM), jointly organised by the Institute for Employment Research (IAB) and the German Centre for Higher Education Research and Science Studies (DZHW), will take place on June 23–24, 2026 in Nuremberg. This year’s special focus is on “Intended and Unintended Consequences of Higher Education Reforms”, but contributions with a general perspective on ‘Higher Education and the Labour Market’ are also welcome.
The keynote speakers will be Susan Dynarski (Harvard University) and Moris Triventi (University of Milan).
We invite contributions from a range of disciplines, in particular Economics, Social Sciences, and Educational Sciences. Please submit a short outline (max. 500 words) by March 31, 2026 to HELM@iab.de.
